Reimbursement Committee Meeting

Join Pro EMS and MAA Reimbursement Committee Chair Robin Shone as they provide training to MAA member finance staff on the dialysis add-on payments outlined in Transportation Bulletin 18,  Billing Guidance for Use of Unlisted Code A0999 for Transportation of Dialysis Patients. 

Board member Bill Mergendahl has confirmed with the State that the add-ons apply to transports coming from private homes, and (when billed correctly) can also apply to patients with Medicare as primary and MassHealth as secondary.

Please share this meeting with your billing staff as the add-ons are valid through October 1.
